Bessies Creek

We executed a treatment plan to target extreme infestations of Water Hyacinth on Water front properties along Bessie’s Creek. We also employed both Helicopter and Airboat assaults on the dense mats and completely eradicated the exotic species from the 100 acres of waterway. We completed the eradication without damaging the native plant and tree species indigenous to the Gulf Coast region of Texas. To this day the Water Hyacinth has not returned.

The Boutros Project

We began this project upon completion of the lake being built. We implemented an aerial design plan to create and improve fisheries habitat. We used materials that were near the lake including mature cedar trees, river pebbles, and lime stone rock to create the fisheries habitat and spawning structure. We planted the mature cedars in the lake bed and stacked the lime stone rock to create protective cover for bait fish and ambush cover for bass. We allowed the center area of the lake to stay open for recreational water sports. We also designed and installed a custom aeration system for this deep lake. This lake will be a trophy bass lake as well as an incredible recreational sports lake.

Hare Lake Renovation Project

When we began this project, this lake was very shallow and had terrible aquatic vegetation problems. It was primarily a backyard swamp. We designed and implemented a plan to increase depth and optimized fisheries habitat and structure. We incorporated both satellite imagery and aerial photography to design the new lake. We also built bulk heads around the entire shoreline with moss rock veneer. The owner wanted a bridge and island so we designed and built these as well. The outflow was raised to increase water depth and to increase the overall size of the lake. We cleared the turbid water with Clearwater Flocculent and added Christmas trees for fisheries habitat. We also built a beach entry for swimming along with a loading ramp for easy boat launch. We transformed a backyard swamp into a beautiful backyard fishery with optimum aesthetic appeal.

Katy Lake Estates

The HOA at Katy Lake Estates contacted us to assist them in clearing their very turbid ski lakes. The muddy water was staining their ski boats and bathing suits due to high levels of suspended clay turbidity. This subdivision is a water ski community and water quality means everything to that community, so we implemented a plan to clear the clay turbidity with our Clearwater Flocculent. You can see in the aerial photos this lake cleared to Caribbean blue over night.

Town Lake Project

We have a working relationship with Caldwell Companies to go in and clear their sub division lakes upon completion. This project took exactly three days and on the fourth day the lake was Caribbean clear. We were on a short deadline to complete this project due to their open house and concert. We worked night and day to meet the deadline and were successful in clearing the extremely turbid lakes. You can tell from the before and after pictures that there is an incredible difference in water clarity.
